Urban Edge Properties, Inc. (NYSE:UE), announced today it had signed nearly 60,000 SF of new leases in Bruckner Commons. The area will be introducing concepts that are in high demand to the area in the coming 12 months. Aldi (21,976SF) & Lots Less(15,082SF) are essential retail stores that bring value and convenience, while Buffalo Wild Wings go (1 666SF) is a new concept for to-go only, showcasing their most popular items. Saloncentric (1.977 SF), located at street level, provides beauty supplies to professionals. This is a valuable resource for Phenix Salons, a neighboring tenant, and other businesses in the neighborhood. On the second level, JAG-ONE (4000SF) will provide physical and occupational therapy.

Target has recently signed a leasing agreement with the property, transforming Bruckner Commons into a 510,000-square-foot center with top-tier retailers like ShopRite and Marshalls. Burlington and Five Below are also part of this transformation.

Scott Auster is the Executive Vice President of Urban Edge and head of leasing. He said that with Aldi and Lot Less occupying significant spaces at Shops at Bruckner it continues to enhance its reputation as an important community destination. When all of these tenants open along with a new Target, we anticipate a surge in consumer traffic that will benefit the entire community.

Bruckner Commons is located at the intersection between the Bruckner Expressway and White Plains Road, in The Bronx (New York), and serves over 700,000 residents within three miles. It’s also easily accessible for the 80,000 cars that pass by the property every day.

Urban Edge was represented in these leases by Christopher Walther from Ripco. Buffalo Wild Wings was represented William Cafero from Charter Realty and Development. Saloncentric was represented Kevin Higgins and Michael Peguero, both of Katz & Associates. JAG-ONE by William Grover, Newmark.
